The theme of our master was less is more...less walls that is! We wanted to optimize space. The layout in the bedroom didn't make sense. It was basically three small rooms. We knocked down all the walls and made one open, bright room.
When designing my bathroom I saw so much potential, but the layout was horrid! The master bath had three sinks, a double vanity and a sink inside the restroom. We didn't have a need for so many sinks and quite frankly I don't know who does, so I got rid of the sink in the restroom and moved the wall to make my shower/ vanity area bigger. I really wanted to create my dream bathroom and to be able to include a space for me. I knew the original layout would not work, so I decided to tear down some walls. Tearing down walls is one of my favorite things to do in any re-model, it just changes the space so much. I made the restroom smaller so I could add a vanity on the outside, and tore down the shower wall. These changes really transformed the space.
